Friday Post - Pivot

Pivot Keyboard Shortcuts

  1. P - Play animation
  2. S - Stop animation
  3. Space bar - Add frame
Solve These

I downloaded the following image: soccerball.jpg but I it will not load in as a sprite.
Why NOT?

The sprite will not load because pivot only supports Bitmaps, GIF's, and png's

I want the animation dimensions to be Width 900 Height 450 then loaded a background image: height 200 width 200.

This warning pops up:

What happens when I choose Yes? The image will change the size of the animation from 900X450 to 200X200

What happens if I choose NO? The image will become 900X450 with lower quality than when it was 200X200

Post the image of your CHAIR from Pivot Soccer

Groundhog Day

1. What is ground hog day?

Groundhog Day is a day where people use groundhogs to predict if spring will come early. If the groundhog sees his shadow there will be six more weeks of miserable winter like conditions. If it doesn't see it's shadow then there will be six more spring-like weeks. The very first Groundhog Day took place on Feb 2nd 1887. Groundhog day originated from an ancient christian tradition of Candle-mas Day. The clergy would distribute candles and however long the candles were was how long winter would be. Germans expanded on that by using a hedgehog and once they settled in Pennsylvania they switched to ground hogs.

2. What is Punxsutawney Phil's prediction?

Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow predicting six more weeks of winter like conditions

3. What is Wiarton Willie's prediction?

Unlike Phil, Willie predicted six weeks of more spring-like conditions
